For the Group Battery Electrodes and Cells we are looking for a

Postdoctoral Fellow in EU project on sensing and healing for lithium-sulfur batteries

Your tasks

  • Fundamental and applied research on lithium sulfur batteries
  • Characterization of electrodes, electrolytes, additives, separators and their interfaces
  • Publishing research results in peer-reviewed scientific journals and presenting at national and international conferences
  • Collaboration with EU project partners within the project for enabling sensing and healing lithium-sulfur batteries
  • Presenting results at project and review meetings, report writing

Your profile

  • You have a PhD degree in chemistry, physics or materials science, preferably related to lithium sulfur batteries, excellent knowledge of rechargeable battery electrochemistry and surface analytics is required
  • It would be an advantage if you have experience in pouch cell assembly and their characterization
  • You are interested in experimental work and strive to publish highest quality results
  • You are curious and highly motivated by scientific knowledge, like working in collaborative environment and have excellent communication skills
  • Excellent command in English is required
