The Centre for Strategic Teaching Development is seeking to fill a position in the FRAME (Fostering Responsible Academic Mindsets and Ethics) project as a university assistant (post-doc), probably from July 2024 (40 hours/week, limited until the end of December 2027) with the following responsibilities.

Aufgaben

  • Creation, design and management of a comprehensive study as part of the FRAME project (Fostering Responsible Academic Mindsets and Ethics)
  • Research activities drawing on qualitative and quantitative methods
  • Communication and networking with relevant stakeholders of the national research
  • Communication and networking with relevant stakeholders of the national research community (universities, ÖAWI, ...), creation of an exchange platform
  • Addressing current challenges in the context of scientific integrity, e.g. generative artificial intelligence
  • Definition of processes that accompany the entire student life cycle and ensure the quality of scientific work
  • Development of a Code of Conduct/Code of Honour together with students
  • Project management and coordination of the research team
  • Writing scientific contributions and relevant publications
  • Writing project reports
  • Communication measures, awareness raising in the field of responsible research
  • Quality assurance and documentation

 

Your profile:

  • Completion of an appropriate PhD (social sciences, educational science, psychology, ...) or a proven academic track record
  • Experience in writing project proposals, especially in educational sciences
  • Expertise in the field of RRI (Responsible Research and Innovation)
  • Experience in working with qualitative and quantitative methods
  • Leadership skills and experience
  • Project management experience
  • Leadership experience in diverse teams
  • Experience in interdisciplinary work
  • Advantageous experience in shaping cultural change, preferably at a university
  • Excellent track record (publications in relevant journals)
  • A passion for working with students
  • Organisational and analytical skills, strong communication skills and a structured and independent way of working
  • Excellent German and English language skills
  • Proven ability to work in a team and problem-solving skills

Entry level salary is determined by the pay grade B1 of the Austrian collective agreement for university staff. This is a minimum of currently EUR 4,752.30/month gross, 14 times/year for 40 hours/week. Relevant working experiences may increase the monthly income.
