We offer an opportunity to carry out cutting-edge translational research in a collaborative environment.
The candidate will use radiomics and deep and/or machine learning to develop a stratification tool based on biological and radiological MRI imaging features. The aim is to develop a stratification tool that can be implemented later on in the clinical radiotherapy workflow of head and neck cancer patients. The research is in close collaboration with the Department of Radiation-Oncology and Department of Radiology from the University Hospitals Leuven. The research is part of the ‘Head and Neck Cancer Radiogenomics project’ funded by ‘Kom op tegen Kanker’, which brings scientists from complementary disciplines together in the field of head and neck oncology.
