What you will do

  • Drive the development of new ultrasound and optoacoustical microsystems from novel transducer concepts to (photo)acoustic imaging applications.
  • Ideate and design the next generation of ultrasound transducers, from low-frequency MUT to high-frequency BAW and SAW.
  • Characterize and benchmark ultrasound transducers acoustically, electrically, mechanically, and optically.
  • Provide support across multiple projects using your expertise in acoustics, acoustic imaging, and/or acoustic streaming.
  • Maintain a high standard of literature knowledge.
  • Collaborate with specialists from our cross-disciplinary teams.
  • Contribute to the creation of a long-term vision and strategy for the group.

What we do for you

We offer you the opportunity to join one of the world’s premier research centers in nanotechnology at its headquarters in Leuven, Belgium.
