Junior Professorship | Professorship – English Language and Business Communication

Your duties
- Teaching, research, supervision, and examination activities in the fields of Business English, Communication, and Academic Writing
- Development and expansion of our study programs (in German and English)
- Supervision of academic papers, theses and student projects
- Research and publication activities
- Participation in quality assurance and university processes
- Involvement in internationalisation activities and expansion of our cooperation network
Your profile
- Doctoral degree or a similar academic qualification in English studies
- Academic training in or strong affinity for business administration and qualitative research
- Teaching, research, and professional experience in the specific area
- International orientation and strong didactic and communication skills
- High affinity for (online) teaching and interest in developing new forms of learning
- Excellent German language skills
- Enjoy working with students
- Ability to work in a team, customer-, service-, and result-orientation

- Depending on qualifications and experience, we offer a total annual gross salary for the position of a junior professor of at least € 58,800 (for the position of a professor at least € 70,000).
- The awarding of a professorship is independent of the conclusion of a contract of employment and is subject to an expert procedure. Corresponding evidence in the fields of teaching, research and practice is also required.
