The University of South-Eastern Norway

We are Norway's fourth largest University. We are approximately 18,000 students and 1,600 staff, spread over eight campuses.

Our aim is to develop a competitive, regionally-anchored and entrepreneurial university with high international quality. This is conditional on having sound academic expertise, professional administration and strong social and working communities which support the University’s partners.

The USN shall place priority on applied, professional-oriented, practice-oriented research and education which is internationally competitive and characterised by co-creation through engaging in close cooperation with society and businesses both regionally and nationally. The University shall offer studies which combine practice-oriented courses with trends on the international knowledge front.
