Postdoc (No: 080-2024)

The Leibniz Institute of Polymer Research Dresden e.V. is looking for a position of a Postdoc (m/f/d) with 40 hours per week at the Institute of Physical Chemistry and Physics of Polymers in the Center for Multi-Scale Characterization.

The development of clean, renewable energy sources is essential to mitigate climate change. Organic photovoltaics (OPV) has the potential for large-scale production of low-cost, lightweight and flexible modules. The aim of the interdisciplinary STEEP UP project is to establish foundations for new OPV production-relevant material classes optimizing energetic alignment and steepness of the low-energy absorption edge by a supramolecular approach. The partnership with the company Heliatek ensures that our research targets OPV materials with high potential for scalability, supporting the sustainable development goal “affordable and clean energy”.
