DHBW Center for Advanced Studies (CAS)

With the establishment of the Center for Advanced Studies (CAS) in Heilbronn, Baden-Wuerttemberg Cooperative State University (DHBW) combines its postgraduate work-study programmes under one roof. The CAS also offers continuing education opportunities; on top of that, both the Center for Higher Education Teaching and Lifelong Learning (CHL) and the DHBW Test Center (for admission and aptitude tests) as a business area of the CHL are based there.

The CAS is a service centre for studying and teaching; it sees itself as an organisational unit consisting of staff at the CAS in Heilbronn, across the DHBW locations and at the DHBW headquarters. The CAS allows the central organisation, coordination and implementation of all DHBW master’s degree programmes as well as other continuing education opportunities in close cooperation with the nine locations and three campuses of DHBW.
